This site is designed to provide tools for examining our context in the universe and, to the extent possible, discussing and crafting out destiny. As one might expect, this is not a trivial undertaking.  The Agenda is simple:

* Maintain and Improve Life as we know it ... under the guiding principles of our enlightened western civilization.

* Prevent the collapse and retreat to a period similar to the Dark Ages

* Assure we are not anihilated by our own folly or by some unexpected natural catastrophe.

* Learn how to mold larger regions of the Universe to our liking.

* Make Life More Interesting (in a positive way).
